LOS ANGELES—Sources attending the ‘Welcome Home’ celebration lunch of Spencer Publication’s lost-and-found heir, Liam Spencer, confirmed Monday that although most guests were happy to revel in his return, there was perhaps one person who was more than just a little miffed that he had resurfaced. “You could see the annoyance in Wyatt’s eyes when Liam walked in—he looked really bothered”, said Skip Husky, a young intern with a healthy appetite. “The tension was this thick,” Husky later added comparing the ill-will between the half brothers to the full width of the fattened calf killed and roasted especially for the happy occasion.
As the party progressed eyewitness claim Liam Spencer sought out Wyatt Spencer by barging into a small office where the latter was discovered desperately hugging his new wife (and Liam Spencer’s ex-fiancee), Steffy Forrester. The menacing looks that came next told the newlywed that his brother immediately wished to ignite a heated conversation that had been simmering on the surface as soon as the pair locked eyes earlier at the party. Once the door clicked shut raised voices could be heard by anyone who had a drinking glass handy to place between their ear and the door in order to listen.
According to reports the brothers were once again playing a nauseating game of musical chair lovers but this time with a bonus round of who tossed who aside and whose crazy mother manipulated whom so that one brother could steal the other brother’s fiancee while they were suffering from amnesia.
“It’s just another day of Lets-Exchange-Lovers. I’m going back for more of Pam’s lemon squares!” said Bob Brown, the UPS delivery driver, before dispersing with the rest of the uninterested crowd.
