Guess who has a birthday coming up? The Bold and the Beautiful is set to celebrate three decades of onscreen bliss on March 23rd 2017.
To mark the momentous occasion the show recently filmed scenes in Australia. In a statement released in February executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell called
the endeavor “the most glamorous location shoot in soap opera history,” before going on
to promise a week long “epic celebration for our fans around the world where viewers will witness romance, high style, jaw-dropping twists, harrowing stunts and major cliffhangers, all hallmarks of Bold and Beautiful.”

In addition to the Australian shoot CBS will begin counting down from March 1st to March 14th to their 30th anniversary by re-airing some memorable moments of the series at the end of each episode. Cannot wait. Make sure to set those DVRs.
Created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell The Bold and the Beautiful was green lit to replace a daytime serial drama called Capitol which featured the never-ending power struggles between two feuding political families.
Speaking at #1for30 event held at the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles, Bell told the intimate gathering of fans on November 3rd 2016 that most of the cast and crew believed the show would have a eight to ten year run at most. Today, however it is the most watched drama on television with an audience of 35 million viewers in over a 100 countries across the world.
