LOS ANGELES—Responding to her grandfather’s claim that she was using his relationship with a madwoman as an excuse to flea her marriage to be with another man, Steffy Spencer responded Wednesday by breathing heavily and rolling her eye skyward. “She’s dangerous. I moved out on my husband because I can’t have her in my life,” said Forrester referring to her mother-in-law Quinn Fuller, whom her grandfather has been romantically involved with for the past few months.
Forrester’s grandfather was not buying the plate of crap she had carefully set out before him. “Leaving your husband is not going to change how I feel about Quinn, she lives with me and works at Forrester so what’s this really about?”
Sources close to the family admitted to scratching their collective heads over this odd development as well. “Oh, so let me get this straight: stabbing Liam Spencer in the neck with his own sword pendant didn’t tip her off that Quinn was dangerous before she said ‘I do’ to Wyatt?” Chimed in another source, “Or that time she was accused of causing Hope Logan to fall down some stairs and lose her baby?” “Surely that time she trapped Liam in a steam room in an attempt to suffocate him really drove home the point that her fiancé’s mom was a nutjob,” said still yet another confused source hopefully.
According to marriage experts the only solution for avoiding a crazy mother-in-law is by not marrying their son in the first place. “It’s really quite simple and I wish more people understood that if you have any foreknowledge as to the mental instability of the woman who raised your fiancé, use your goddam common sense and just don’t get married to him!” a doctor who wished to remain anonymous said. “I can’t tell you how many patients I have that seek my advice after the fact. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s great for business but it is maddening at the same time”.
